I have a Digital Marketing background. I have worked as a client manager and content creator.

I usually spend my free time doing business planning for my next business idea. I want to start my business within the next 2 years and I have been working towards making that dream into a reality. I am also interested in Automotive sales and marketing.

I took upon the role of a Tester/Researcher. As the project required us to integrate the social media of an Alumni communication. I tested out ideas to find the most effective ones and then we presented those forward to our mentor and sponsors.

Name: Sanyukta Bandri

I am currently a Global Business Management student from Fleming College. I have persuaded my graduation in Bachelor’s in Management Studies. I have a passion in the physical world and am willing to connect to the world of Digital Marketing. With all the education, training and work experience I have learnt to become a detail oriented Professional with interpersonal skills and knowledge.

For this project , I have been actively engaged with in the communication aspect within the team and with the sponsors.

I am a data analyst. I have worked in a few MNCs before coming to Canada. I am interested in creating marketing plans and studying market trends. I have been studying the financial markets and am interested in becoming a financial advisor.

Brief Description Of Project:

Building an infrastructure to help Crestwood High School build and maintain an alumni community

Project Objective:

Client Requirements:

  • Create an online database for school alumni
  • Create a social media presence for the Alumni Association
  • Social media marketing for the association

Project Innovation:

We did our research to find a tool, a digital marketing online platform that allows the user to maintain customer relations and in this case, it would allow the sponsors to increase and maintain engagement with and among their alumni. We used MailChimp for this. We used Facebook as our primary social media platform to connect with alumni as the school had a social media handle and we used it to our advantage.

We used our innovative approach to understand the problem and then provided solutions by using tools and all the important aspects to make the project successful.

 


Challenges & Solutions:

We used MailChimp to provide the school with an online database and digital marketing hub for the alumni association page.

We integrated Facebook with MailChimp, this allowed us to create posts and post them on Facebook and Instagram together.

We created forms and landing pages for collecting alumni contact information.

We used current school communications to promote the Facebook Alumni Association page


Project Results or Progress:

We got followers and likes on our Facebook page after our first post and internal promotion. Our online database also started to fill in information about the alumni. School alumni also shared our posts for more reach.

The school has a growing online database now, alumni are keying in their information and it’s directly been updated in our database.
