Brief Description Of Project:

Developing a marketing plan for the sponsor organization that will help boost the sales and help the marketing strategy.

Project Objective:

  • The initial project objective was to develop a marketing plan that would assist sales and marketing strategy. 
  • As we started meeting with the sponsor and asked several questions to understand what the requirements of the sponsor are and what does he have in mind regarding the project results. 
  • After a few meetings, our team had the exact deliverables which are recommending some marketing strategies to the sponsor that can be implemented before or after pandemic.  
  • Sponsor wants us to focus more on the potential market that they have targeting since the pandemic began and they had to adapt to online delivery of the coaching sessions. 
  • The final project objective  

Project Innovation:

  • We created a draft marketing plan taught to us in the previous semester that would help us gather all the necessary information needed to develop creative and effective marketing strategies. 
  • We researched about the Coaching industry and the competitors which helped us understand what strategies the competitors have been implementing to create awareness. 
  • In every meeting we used to share the draft marketing plan with the sponsor and get his feedback on the same and modify it according to sponsor’s suggestions and our mentor’s recommendations. 

Challenges & Solutions:

  • Miscommunication in the team was a barrier at the beginning which we overcame by showing empathy and making some little compromises. 
  • Coordinating time to work together was a challenging situation for the team before but we resolved it successfully by making our schedule adjustable according to each other. 

Project Results or Progress:

We created a marketing plan and suggested a few ideas to our sponsor. He was very satisfied with the suggestions that we proposed to our sponsor.     

  • Attributes that Judges are looking for: 

Our sponsor is looking for the presentation and the opportunities that are available in Market. 

Sketching visuals to attract more clients they can be reusable and used for multipurpose. 

Creating sketches should be like different images reflecting on different situations. 


Lessons Learned:

  • There are lot of experiences we had, and skills acquired during this time of the project. 
  • During the time of creating the marketing strategies we identified lot of skills and learned how to create the strategies and giving them details in step-by-step format to the sponsor. 
  • Maintaining the scripts for all the marketing strategies. 
  • Documenting all the information that are discussed in meetings.
