Brief Description Of Project:

The CHC which deals with the heating system. It is the one platform for Retailers, Merchant, Manufactures, Plumbers, and other household workers. The main mission of the CHC is to provide the platform by marketing and generating awareness through social media platforms and the CHC is also actively posting on social platforms about the events that they are organizing for members and workers.

Project Objective:

  1. Develop the social media campaign: We need to work on creating the social media campaigns to engage and generate traffic on the website. The major motive of the campaign is to put the CHC on the top list of Google when someone searched Hydronics on the internet.
  2. Develop the social media strategies: The objective is to build the social media strategies to engage the members and non-members to connect with the association via several social media websites such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram so that they will receive the latest information regarding the webinars and events.
  3. To increase membership engagement: To make the networking with the members and build the long-term community so that more and more users can become part of the association.
  4. Shifting towards new technology and industry requirements: To provide the information and knowledge to the members about what is moving forward in the industry. For instance, information regarding the energy efficiency, changes of policies in several provinces: British Columbia removes fossil fuels.

Project Innovation:

We are currently adding the value in the project by providing the suggestions regarding the social media marketing plan and how CHC can engage maximum numbers of members and non- members in their training program and virtual trade show events.


Challenges & Solutions:

The Challenge are as follow:

  1. Firstly, our project has been changed as earlier we were working on to develop an app but later we need to make an marketing Plan for association.
  2. Lack of information about  the Canadian Hydronics Council.
  3. Difficulty to bring face to face trade shows’.
  4. Lack of awareness in society regarding the work of CHC.

Solution are as follow:

  • Search Engine optimization
  • Focus on existing social media channels to engage current and new members 
  • Hire current students in the Trades and or Business programs to continue with marketing plan and associated strategies

 


Project Results or Progress:

We are working on Marketing Plan as we have conducted the SWOT AND PEST Analysis to know the key areas on which we have to work as after doing all the research their are some amendments that needs to be done in marketing plan of CHC to create awareness in society which will help them in engaging in members and also help them to attract new users.
